Eastport Dining Room Collection
The Eastport Collections by Klaussner Home have the casual lines that suggest simplicity and relaxation. Softly rounded shapes and birch veneers receive a glazed light finish in the Eastport interpretation and a glazed black finish as Westport. Victorian design elements with clean, simple lines and softly rounded shapes are at the heart of this collection. Moldings are generously proportioned and used to frame many of the pieces. Reeded posts, table and chair legs, and moldings accent pieces with a casual air. Ball finials top several posts. The rubbed finishes antique the appearance of each piece and show off more of the poplar and birch wood grains. Classic Victorian design appears in the shaping of the dining table’s apron with gentle convex curvature. The tabletop is divided into four veneered areas that are banded with strips of veneer and has curved radius corners. Turned and reeded table legs swell just below the apron and end in a cuffed, tapered foot.
