This sideboard offers generous storage and functionality, making this versatile piece a valuable addition to the dining room. End panels, doors and front drawers feature hickory veneer and applied moldings with a striking X design on the door fronts. A middle open area provides room for platters and includes an adjustable shelf with cleats on one side for wine storage. There is an adjustable wooden shelf behind each door, and the top three drawers are velvet lined with a tray for silver storage in the center drawer. A bottom drawer provides added storage for place mats, platters etc.
The patina rich copper metal hutch features a baker’s rack with two wood shelves with plate grooves for stability. Round metal finials punctuate the top of the hutch posts, and the bottom is protected by a felt pad to eliminate any scratching when placed atop the buffet.
