A carved base with a thickly fluted post, and a molded shaped pad feet support this extraordinary 56”round table with a V matched elm veneer top, bordered at the circumference by a decorative hand painted leaf and scroll design. Dentil molding runs along the bottom of the apron, and a matching 20”leaf in a velvet storage bag extends the table to 76”oval to seat eight comfortably. The oval upholstered dining chair is embellished with curved open wooden fretwork at the back, captured within a thick molded frame. The curved arms with paw shaped ends allow for ample room and maximum comfort, curving down to the dentil molded chair base. The front legs are turned fluted posts embellished with a bulb shape at the bottom, supported by two strong thick back legs. The neutral shade of the upholstery fabric is allows for versatility of room décor.
