Nice furniture color is true to pictures, we are still waiting for a replacement foot board since the one we received was damaged. The concern and 2 star rating was due to the fact that this damage was finished over by the mfg and then also missed in the white glove delivery process. It took many emails to have Bedroom furniture agree to process a claim as a manufacturing defect. Make sure you fully inspect your furniture upon receipt. 5 5

There were no reviews on this set when we took a chance and ordered it. We were pleasantly surprised with the look and quality especially considering the price. The tufted headboard is large and beautiful and really makes a statement when you walk into the bedroom. This set looks very similar to one by Ashley furniture, but having seen that one, I'm glad we bought the New Classic set. The whole transaction with BFD was great, delivery people were helpful and we highly recommend them. 5 5

Really like this set but concerned about the quality. First, the table is great and seems sturdy. The chairs are comfortable/firm but two of them seem like they aren't secured very well. Its probably just a matter of tightening the screws but the set is only a week old and shouldn't have become loose already. Also, there is an underlying gray tone the furniture. It is not a creamy linen and dark brown. Although it works in my home I was hoping for a more creamy tone. 4 5

The furniture is great but the guys who put it together didn’t do it with care and used an impact drill to put the little bolts in for the feet of all of the furniture. On one of the big dresser they drilled it too hard and broke the cam nut loose that was connected to the dresser. Therefore the foot of that dresser was loose and not properly connected. They tried to stand the dresser up while I was out of the room hoping I wouldn’t notice, but while they were taking the trash out to their truck I was looking at the furniture and noticed. When I asked them about it they played dumb and said they could “fix it”. They tried just throwing some wood screws in it so it wouldn’t move but it looked horrible. He also cut his finger while trying to jerry rig it up and got blood on my carpet. When I told them I’d rather just get a new one they tried to say I couldn’t do that since it was “repaired” now. I called bedroom furniture discounts and they said that they can get me a new one if it can’t get fixed so we’ll see. All in all the furniture is very nice though. Just extremely poor delivery services. 5 5

Many of the drawers hit one another when opening/closing. Alignment is off. The trim (Laminate) on the edges of drawers was coming off on 4 drawers. My husband had to glue and clamp them over night to get them to hold. Edge along bottom of dresser on a side looked like it was missed with the stain. I used a brown and black permanent marker to fill it in. Took a while to get color to match but with an hours effort I was successful.We didn’t return the dresser due to Covid. We are at risk family and preferred to avoid that option. But paying top dollar for an item that wasn’t perfect was beyond disappointing. 4 5

The furniture quality is poor. Specially the golden paint is like uneven. On joints it has cracks , joined part is not properly filled with filling/paint. I purchased a bed and 2 nightstands. I had been advised in email communication that when the furniture arrived at the delivery company, it would all be inspected and any damage would be repaired before it was delivered. When the furniture was delivered on 4/12/20 I asked the delivery guy if the furniture had been unboxed and inspected as I was in the middle of a renovation and couldn't set the furniture up yet. He said they were not able to inspect the furniture due to new guidelines for the coronavirus. He said that would be noted on my delivery receipt in case there were any issues. So, I decided to unbox all the furniture to make sure it was ok. I removed the first nightstand and noticed the damage to the corner edge. I then realized that the legs were missing. I unboxed the second nightstand and immediately noticed the difference in packaging. Although the first one seemed to be packaged very well, the second one had wrapping all around the drawers and the handles - this was missing from the first one (the attached picture shows the proper packaging on the undamaged nightstand). I then discovered that the bottom drawer of the damaged nightstand was off the glide. I turned it on it's side and realized one of the glides was broken. The green piece in the picture should be attached to the orange piece, but it's broken. I have had several email communication with Greg Mangubat, Customer Success Manager, at bedroomfurniturediscounts.com and I am still unsatisfied. Greg has said that the damage on the nightstand is repairable; therefore, it needs to be fixed instead of replaced. However, they have no technicians in my area (I live in Columbus, OH - a large metropolitan area) and local techs in my area are closed due to coronavirus. The last email I received from Greg was on 5/15/20 and he said he would continue to try to find someone in my area to fix the nightstand. So I have now had the nightstand for a month and cannot use it. Again, the legs were not sent with the nightstand. I contend that I received a nightstand that was maybe returned and I am obviously not happy with paying full price for something that is not in 100% brand new condition. I do not want a discount - I want the brand new nightstand that I ordered and paid for! 5 5

This is a solid dresser made to last generations. This dresser is also worth the price due to its solid oak & cedar construction. The craftsmanship is superb with its drawers that lock in place when closed and pull open all the way out when opened. The oak is not thin sheets of oak layered over plywood for a lament finish. The oak top and drawers are a solid thick red oak that comes with a beautiful deep stain finish. The dresser is not easy to move considering its 238lb solid wood body. The delivery was also something to be respected. The drivers, 3 of them, got here exactly at the time they specified, 7:30am. They carried the dresser through the route I specified, unpackaged the dresser by the garage outside and then carried it upstairs to the room and spot I showed them. The white glove delivery was awesome and the delivery drivers were excellent. In short this was the perfect purchase from the point of purchase to the delivery. This was a well worth investment that has me totally impressed. 1 5

I have had this bedroom set for two months. it looks expensive and luxurious. It has great quality materials. The color is near exact to the picture. While the drawers aren't wide, they are deep and tall. I bought the beach drawer chest versus the five drawer chest and an extra night stand. The night stands are big with plenty of space. I love this set. I am extremely happy with my purchase of furniture for my master bedroom and the value. I shopped around and found the best price here. Shipping and arrival went smoothly. Great solid wood construction! The table top is much more attractive in person, but it is wobbly. It's good looking and I think comparable in style to some of the other high end furniture makers, but may not be on par with their quality. Overall beautiful set!
